Bighorn Bistro

Art and Jeanne McCann have lived in the Vail Valley for 20 years. Art’s restaurant background began in New York City where he was a food purchaser for Smith and Wolenski’s and later bartended at The Post House in Manhatten.

Living in Vail gave him many opportunities to work in fine dining institutions such as Lancelot, Sweet Basil and Terra Bistro. After being the General Manager of Terra Bistro, he decided to open his own restaurant in East Vail 8 years ago.

Jeanne McCann’s background after obtaining an MBA in marketing also includes working in many Vail restaurants and finally managing Saddle Ridge in Beaver Creek for 10 years. Both Art and Jeanne along with their two kids, Shane 4 and Lucy 2, love to ski, bike, hike and raft which makes the Vail Valley a perfect place.
